嗨，我叫华美茜（Michelle），我是美国出生的华人，从小就开始学习中文，每周六也会额外去中文学校补习中文～马上开学后就是哈佛大二的学生了。我的主修专业是经济，辅修计算机。在校园里我有参加金融和咨询类的学生组织，也是哈佛亚裔美国舞蹈团的一员！我从小就开始练艺术体操，也学过芭蕾舞。高中的时候，我获奖成为艺术体操十级的运动员，也在全美锦标赛中拿下了两枚银牌。高中毕业，体操“退休”后就加入了哈佛的一个舞社，现在会编排表演一些中国舞、现代舞、hip-hop等等。

Hello, My name is Hua Meixi (Michelle). I am an American-born Chinese, and I started learning Chinese at a young age and attended Chinese school for extra lessons every Saturday. I'll soon be a sophomore at Harvard University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. 

On campus, I am involved in student organizations related to finance and consulting and am also a member of the Harvard Asian-American Dance Troupe! I started practicing rhythmic gymnastics as a child and have also learned ballet. In high school, I became a Level 10 rhythmic gymnast and won two silver medals at the National Championships. 

After graduating from high school and “retiring” from gymnastics, I joined a dance group at Harvard, where I now choreograph and perform Chinese dance, modern dance, hip-hop, and more.

     我叫朱恩源（Aris）现在在哈佛大学读本科，马上读大三，主修物理和计算机科学。从小我就开始学中文，每几年暑假去上海旅游一次，同时看望朋友和亲戚（顺便也学了几句上海话）。小时候，我学过芭蕾舞和中国舞，跳过扇子舞和孔雀舞。在家里，我也喜欢帮忙做饺子和馄饨，有时还在学校组织包馄饨的活动。

My name is Zhu Enyuan (Aris). I'm an undergraduate student at Harvard University, and I'm about to start my junior year, majoring in physics and computer science. I've been learning Chinese since I was a child and have traveled to Shanghai every few summers to visit friends and relatives (and picked up a few phrases in Shanghainese along the way). When I was younger, I learned ballet and Chinese dance, including fan dance and peacock dance. I also enjoy helping to make dumplings and wontons at home, and sometimes I organize wonton-making activities at school.

谈谈选择国金海外实习生项目的考虑？以及这个项目带给你的体验是什么？

Why did you choose the Sinolink Securities Overseas Internship Program and what was your experience like?

     我在国金的这段实习收获满满！我主要的工作包括每日的晨讯翻译和各个行业的分析师点评的翻译。我还研究了一个关于中东和俄罗斯 QFII 投资者的研究课题，并在实习结束时进行了研究展示和演讲。通过每日任务，我了解到了多公司的实时动态，比如新产品的发布、成本管理策略以及海外扩张渠道等。通过参加线上路演和客户小范围电话会议，我了解到了不同行业的发展情况和市场趋势，比如电子行业的AR眼镜、电新行业新兴市场的可再生能源储存、医药行业的创新药和临床产品、降息带来的市场影响等等。

My internship at Sinolink Securities was very rewarding! My main tasks included translating daily morning reports and analyst comments from various industries. I also researched a project on QFII (Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor) investors from the Middle East and Russia, and I gave a presentation on my research at the end of the internship. Through my daily tasks, I gained insights into the real-time dynamics of multiple companies, such as new product launches, cost management strategies, and overseas expansion channels. By participating in online roadshows and small-scale client conference calls, I learned about the development of different industries and market trends, such as AR glasses in the electronics industry, renewable energy storage in emerging markets in the new energy sector, innovative drugs and clinical products in the pharmaceutical industry, and the market impact of interest rate cuts.

当时想来中国实习，是因为总是通过网络和新闻听说中国的经济发展很快，我想来实际感受了解一下，同时我对中国文化也很感兴趣。我来到上海后发现中国特别先进，各种手机APP做得非常好，已经融入了人们的日常生活，通过手机APP支付买食品饮料、乘坐交通工具也非常快捷，马路上有很多电动车，路旁的植物也种得很好看，在公司进出都有刷脸智能系统。

I decided to intern in China because I had always heard about the country’s rapid economic development through the internet and news, and I wanted to experience it firsthand. I’m also very interested in Chinese culture. After arriving in Shanghai, I found China to be highly advanced, with various mobile apps integrated into people's daily lives. It’s very convenient to pay for food and drinks or use public transportation through mobile apps, and there are many electric scooters on the streets, with beautifully planted greenery along the roadsides. The company has a smart facial recognition system for entry and exit.

我在国金的大多数实习时间都在国际业务部门。在这个部门里，我平常帮忙整理分析师点评材料的英文版本，有时还会去参听路演，更深入地了解公司和行业趋势。在实习期间，我也进行了一些研究工作，专门寻找中东和俄罗斯的QFII公司，了解他们对中国公司的投资方法。

Most of my internship at Sinolink Securities was in the International Business Department. In this department, I usually helped organize the English versions of analyst commentaries. Sometimes, I attended roadshows to gain a deeper understanding of company and industry trends. During the internship, I also conducted some research, specifically identifying QFII companies in the Middle East and Russia to understand their investment approaches to Chinese companies.

我其余的实习时间在国金的IT部门。在这个部门里，我学会了如何设置数字人，并接触了一些能够专门创造真实和卡通数字人的大模型数据和代码。数字人目前在中国的应用处于探索初期阶段，未来，数字人可能还可以应用于更广泛的行业和领域。

The rest of my internship time was spent in Sinolink Securities's IT department, where I learned how to set up digital humans and worked with large model data and codes that can create both realistic and cartoon digital humans. The application of digital people in China is currently in the early stage of exploration. In the future, digital humans may also be used in a wider range of industries and fields.

除了实习本身，在中国还有哪些额外的收获？

Apart from the internship, what other experiences did you gain in China?

我经常放暑假的时候来中国探亲和旅游，去过中国的很多地方。我游览过北京非常震撼的长城和故宫、看过成都可爱的大熊猫、品尝过西安美味的肉夹馍，也活过了今年上海40+度的炎热夏天。。。

I often visit China during summer vacations to see relatives and travel, and I've been to many places in China. I've experienced the awe-inspiring Great Wall and the Forbidden City in Beijing, saw the adorable pandas in Chengdu, tasted the delicious meat buns (roujiamo) in Xi'an, and survived this year’s scorching 40+ degree summer in Shanghai...

这次来中国，我也玩了不少，去了西安和上海一些有特色的地方。在西安，我特别喜欢大唐不夜城，穿上了一套唐装，和朋友一起在城里逛，特别热闹。在上海，我大多数时间都在看望亲戚朋友，但也喜欢去朱家角和南京路逛一逛。我还去了宜兴，参观了一个陶瓷历史馆，那里展示的陶瓷釉色多样，形象和创作意义丰富，做工非常精细。我还看了他们的特色的紫砂陶器。以后希望有机会再回来中国多看看。

During my time in China, I had a lot of fun and visited some unique places in Xi'an and Shanghai. In Xi'an, I particularly enjoyed the Tang Paradise Night Market, where I wore a traditional Tang dynasty outfit and strolled around the city with friends. It was very lively. In Shanghai, I spent most of my time visiting relatives and friends, but I also enjoyed exploring Zhujiajiao and Nanjing Road. I also visited Yixing, where I toured a ceramics history museum. The ceramics on display had a wide variety of glazes, rich in imagery and creative significance, and the craftsmanship was exquisite. I also saw their famous Yixing clay teapots. I hope to return to China in the future to explore more.

如果有机会再回来国金实习，我会想体验投行部门或者研究所的工作。虽然听说特别辛苦，但我希望可以学到更多关于各种公司和行业的知识，并且学会形成我自己的投资观点。当然，我也希望可以与国际业务部的老师们可以再一次见面！

If I could intern at Sinolink Securities again, I would like to experience working in the investment banking department or the research institute. Although I've heard it can be very challenging, I hope to learn more about various companies and industries and develop my own investment perspectives. I would also love to meet the mentors in the International Business Department again!

印象最深的就是国金的实习环境和氛围特别好，实习生们可以经常与带教老师们沟通和学习。我们也会和其他部门的实习生交流，了解彼此的实习内容，他们也非常有活力，是一群值得结识的好伙伴。

   What impressed me the most was the excellent working environment and atmosphere at Sinolink Securities. Interns frequently communicated and learned from their mentors. We also interacted with interns from other departments, learning about each other's internship experiences. They were all very energetic, and it was a pleasure to get to know such great companions.
