In 1935, amid the economic uncertainties following the Great Depression, UOB opened its doors to provide banking services for the merchant community in Singapore.

What We Do

About United Overseas Bank Taipei Branch
UOB established a presence in Taiwan in January 1992 as a representative office. Three years later, on 28 August 1995, UOB Taipei Branch was formally set up. As the banking industry continued to liberalise in Taiwan, our business expanded to include an Offshore Banking Unit (OBU) on 2 April 2001.
UOB Taipei is a fully licensed bank that can undertake all forms of banking activities. Other than providing the traditional services in facilitating trade and remittances, we also engage actively in corporate and investment banking, treasury services. We are focused on serving local customers with cross-border banking needs, especially those companies with investments in China.

What it takes

² At least a bachelors degree with expected graduation in 2020, from any discipline, gained from a reputable university, or professionals with no more than 2 years’ working experience
